The mission of St. John Fellowship of Catholic Men is to encourage and empower men to deepen their relationship with Christ, their families, their church, their community, other Catholic men, and to live their faith in everyday life. For more information please contact Preston Smith, President.
Our mission is carried out through the sourcing and development of materials, programs, and events designed to lead men along the path of conversion, transformation, and mobilization so that their faith and life become one in Christ and in so doing become a light to their families, their faith community, and to the world.
Guiding Principles
Humility – Remember to remain at least one-step behind the Holy Spirit.
Unity – In the Church there is a diversity of ministry but a unity of mission.
Obedience - to God, Pope, Bishop, Priest
Perseverance – Only God knows the time of the Harvest – (“ we are only in sales, the rest is up to management”)
Integrity – Faith professed must be a faith that is lived (“Pray as you live, live as you pray”)
Witness – The very witness of a Christian life, and good works done in a supernatural spirit, are effective in drawing men to the faith and to God; and that is what the Lord has said: “Your light must shine so brightly before men that they can see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven” (Mt. 5:16)
Service –“For the son of man did not come to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many” (Mark 10:45)
